Elementary/Middle School Office The purpose of the Administrative Assistant is to assure the smooth and efficient operation of the school administrative duties so that the office's maximum positive impact on the education of children can be realized S/he should also assist in the administration of some of Divine Savior's business affairs.

personally, professionally, and institutionally/organizationally Duties As a practical definition, School Administrative Assistant:
Welcomes visitors and arranges for their comfort, and screens unexpected callers in accordance with predetermined policy Assists the Admissions Director to facilitate the admission process with new students Takes and transcribes various types of documents, including correspondence, reports, notices, and recommendations Obtains, gathers, and organizes pertinent data as needed, and puts it into usable form Maintains a regular filing system, as well as a set of locked confidential files, and processes incoming correspondence as instructed Places and receives telephone calls, and records messages Maintains a schedule of appointments and makes arrangements for conferences and interviews Maintains attendance records for Middle School and High School students and generate attendance letters to parents Contacts parents in the event a student does not show up for school Assists in the completion of all year-end reports Registrar duties including keeping student files up-to-date and sending and receiving transcripts Reviews daily attendance reports from PowerSchool Maintains up-to-date student information on PowerSchool Contacts parents in the event a student does not show up for school Maintains records and coordinate subs for teachers Maintains records for detentions and technology violations for school students Must be able to communicate with parents efficiently over the phone or by email Creates Catering calendar for each month Provides first aid and administers medication to students Keeps track of student injury reports and doctor's notes Reports to:
